This course introduces Senior Four learners to the fundamental concepts, principles, and applications of Physics as outlined in the Uganda lower secondary curriculum. It's designed to help learners develop scientific reasoning, practical problem solving skills, and an understanding of how physical phenomena influence daily within both refugee and host community environments.
The course is organized into four major thematic areas: Work, Energy and Power, Heat and Thermodynamics and Waves and Sound.
Through interactive lessons, guided inquiry, demonstrations, simulations, and continuous assessments, learners will explore how forces act on bodies, how energy is transformed, how heat affects matter, and how waves transmit energy.
Learners will engage in practical investigations, group work, and real-life examples relevant to the school and community environment. By the end of the course,  students will have strengthened their conceptual understanding,  improved their analytical skills, and developed confidence in applying Physics to everyday problems.
