Th.is course,S1 elementary Physics is written specifically for senior students in the
Republic of Uganda . This course prepared in accordance with the 2020 Physics Syllabus for
new lower Secondary School curriculum , issued by the then NCDC.
The course consists of 5 chapters, namely: Introduction to Physics, Introduction to laboratory
practice, Measurements, Force, Density and relative density.
Each chapter contains il.ustrations, activities and exercises. Your are encouraged to do all the
activities and exercises together with other assignments that will be provided by the teacher.
Doing so will enhance your understanding and promote the development of the intended competencies.
