This course introduces Senior Two learners to the fundamental concepts of Physics as outlined in the Uganda lower secondary curriculum. Learners will explore topics such as measurement, motion, forces, work and energy, pressure, heat, light, sound, and electricity. Through guided lessons, experiments, and real-life applications, students will develop scientific inquiry skills, problem-solving abilities, and a deeper understanding of how Physics explains the natural and technological world around them.

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Use basic measuring instruments and apply the concept of units.

  • Explain and apply the laws of motion and forces in everyday life.

  • Understand the concepts of work, energy, and power and their applications.

  • Investigate heat, light, and sound phenomena.

  • Explore basic electricity and its role in modern living.
