Course Description.
Project Planning and Management has evolved from the need to plan , coordinate and control complex and diverse activities of modern industrial, social, political and commercial projects. This course exposes to the students to a variety of techniques used to initiate, plan, manage project budgets, schedule and quality; and the critical success factors that make a successful project. It is hoped that a clear understanding of the generic principles and techniques of project planning and management will enhance the students ability to initiate, plan or manage a wide variety of projects in different fields.
