This course will equip students with comprehensive knowledge and basic skills in French for Tourism and Travel Management both at local and International level. The course focuses on enabling students to hold short conversations in simple French, receive and serve customers using basic everyday expressions, and acquire the four language skills (Reading, writing, listening and speaking).
Some of the objectives of this course unit are:
To enable students to communicate using basic skills in French, help Students to read, write, listen and speak basic French and enable students to hold short conversations in simple French with francophone tourists.
By the end of this course unit, students/learners should be able to: Understand the basic skills in French for Travel and Tourism Management both for local and International level, hold short conversations in simple French, receive and serve customers using basic everyday expressions and acquire the four language skills (Reading, writing, listening and speaking).
